The federal government has formally announced the working hours across all government offices operating during Ramadan, The new times will be in effect on the first day of Ramadan, which is anticipated to be March 23.
The govt. offices will be open from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM Monday through Thursday, while the timing for Friday will be from 7:30 am to 12 pm. according to the official announcement made by the Cabinet Secretariat.
Muslims all over the world are getting ready to observe Ramadan, the holy month of fasting. Muslims observe a strict fast during this month from dawn until dusk, breaking it with iftar.
All federal govt offices will now be open from 7.30 AM to 2.30 PM on Monday through Thursday, according to a decision made last week at a high-level meeting presided over by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
The meeting also agreed that federal govt offices would close on Friday at 12.30 p.m. After one week, the federal government has, however, announced slightly distinct timings.
