Imran Khan demands that the rich nations must give back the stolen money of the developing countries. He says that the excessive money that lies in the banks of these rich countries belongs not to them but to the poor and developing countries.

During a United Nations (UN)’s general assembly session, Imran khan addressed a panel of Financial Accountability, Transparency and Integrity (FACTI) and told the international platforms to do something about this and take action so that the bleeding of the poor nations could be stopped.

He said: “The stolen assets of developing countries, including proceeds of corruption, bribery and other crimes, must be returned immediately. The authorities in haven destinations must impose criminal and financial penalties on their financial institutions which receive and utilise such money and assets.

The enablers of corruption and bribery such as accountants, lawyers and other intermediaries must be closely regulated, monitored and held accountable. The beneficial ownership of foreign companies must be revealed immediately upon inquiry by the interested and affected governments.
