Sindh Minister, Saeed Ghani says that the Sindh education committee has proposed that during the first phase of reopening of schools from 15th September, students from class 9th onwards should be recalled and rest of the classes till grade 8 in the next phase after reviewing the scenario.
In a meeting conducted by Sindh education minister, this suggestion was given to be reviewed as an option when it comes to the final decision of reopening schools.
Some SOP regarding reopening were finalized in the meeting and other recommendations were considered which were to be discussed with the federal government during the final meeting held on 7th September.
Saeed ghani said “According to the recommendations educational institutes will be reopened in different stages, we will announce our final decision after the September 7 NCOC meeting,”
The stages could include recalling of students from 9th grade onwards on 15th September, students from 6th to 8th grade on September 21st whereas pre-primary to class 5 on September 28.
The final decision is yet to be announced on 7th September.
