Sajal Aly’s name is currently considered as one of the most powerful names in the category of female celebrities in Pakistan. Not only in Pkaistan , she has made her presence known in the industry overseas as well. Few days ago she even received an award for her contribution to the films and television at the Distinctive International Arab Festival Awards (DIAFA).
While receiving the DIAFA award, she had some humble words to say: “I’m really honoured to be here with such amazing actors and amazing people. I’m extremely thankful to all my fans for believing in me. Thank you DIAFA for this honour,”
While talking to the publication magazine, Khaleej times, she talked about her personal and professional lives. She said: “I think I am truly blessed and lucky. I don’t want to even think for a moment that I deserve this more than anyone else. I have done my work with full honesty and it has been a rewarding year,”
Talking about her fans an family she stated “My fans and family have been my pillar of strength and I would like to dedicate this success to them. I have always been selective about the work that I like to do but getting an opportunity like that most of the time is also a blessing. I am truly humbled and blessed.”
Earlier this year, she had married another big star of Pakistan, Ahad Raza Mir. Even their on screen chemistry was loved by fans and their small event marriage ceremony made it to the highlights with the love of fans.
The ceremony took place in Abu Dhabi UAE with a small number of attendees which included close family. During the interview, talking about her relationship with Ahad, Sajal said that the couple prefers to keep their lives rather personal.
She said: “Ahad and I both feel that our private life is not for public consumption. Additionally, this year when we got married, the situation around the world wasn’t too favourable,” she continued. “Because of the virus, people have suffered losses of life and health. Amidst all this, I don’t think it would be wise to flash all those pictures of excursions and celebrations. My prayers are for all those who are suffering in these times.”
