For the Australia Test series, Pakistan traded in veteran stumper Sarfaraz Ahmed for Rizwan, and the former captain has since departed the nation in the hopes of bigger things to come.
Sarfaraz, 36, and his wife and two kids reportedly migrated to the UK, according to reports in the local media.
The experienced cricket player made the bold decision to go to London after feeling hopeless about his prospects back home.
According to information obtained, the former skipper is eager to keep playing cricket in Pakistan and will be a member of the Quetta Gladiators in PSL Season 9.

After Azhar Ali resigned as ODI captain in 2017, Sarfaraz was chosen for the T20 captaincy in 2016. He assumed the role of Test captain for his squad following Misbah’s resignation.
