Dr. Tawfiq al-Rabiah, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, has announced a number of changes that will make performing the hajj and umrah easier for everyone.

This year, the pre-coronavirus Hajj quota has been restored, the Umrah visa has been extended from 30 days to 90 days, and the 65-year-old age limit for Hajj has been removed.

However, one of the most important adjustments is the decrease in the Umrah insurance fee, which was reduced from SR 235 to SR 88. The cost of Hajj insurance has also been decreased from SR 109 to SR 29, in a similar manner.

The Minister also declared that people with Umrah visas can now travel freely throughout the nation and that people with other visas will be able to perform Umrah as well. The process of issuing visas is also being streamlined, and it now only takes less than 24 hours to do so.

The cost of performing Hajj and Umrah will be significantly reduced as a result of the Saudi government’s action, which is anticipated to be loved and respected by Muslims worldwide.
