ISLAMABAD (Monitoring Desk) Senator Faisal Vawda has expressed dissatisfaction over the exemption of non-filers in the Hajj and Umrah package and has raised a question as to why the non-filers have been given the exemption for Hajj and Umrah. What is the logic behind? According to the news website ‘ProPakistani’, Faisal Vawda demanded that the condition of filers should be applied to non-filers for Hajj and Umrah.
According to the report, Faisal Vawda, speaking in the meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Finance regarding the budget, further said that this has been done only because it is a religious duty. The member operation FBR should also know that in religion also the observance of law comes first. Non-filers will have to re-examine the exemption granted for Haj and Umrah.
