Shahnawaz Dahani has been the talk of town after emerging as the best bowler and best new talent of the PSL 2021. The fast bowler from Larkana devoted his amazing accomplishments to his parents.
“I want to dedicate my achievements to my mother who always prays for me and to my late father ( if he was here would be proud of me). Thanks and love to all my fans,” read the tweet by Dahani after his team Multan Sultans went on to beat Peshawar Zalmi in final and become champions for the PSL season 6.
Dahani has had quite an inspiring journey, from practicing bare-foot with a tape-ball on a rough ground to accomplishing glories at the PSL. He didn’t have any conveniences in the regard at his village, not even a good source to watch live cricket.
He would take shoes from his friends and come up with “jugaars” to watch live broadcasts of cricket matches being played anywhere in the world.
“I was passionate about bowling fast and was known in my village for my fast bowling, that’s why many there had named me 3G bowler – to relate the speed with the speed of the internet,” Dahani had stated then.
