Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan may not be able to get away from any significant punishment after he was arrested as a result of a drugs raid.
As per Entertainment Times, a senior lawyer talked about the Bollywood actor’s chances with the law and clarified that since the drugs he had in possession were in minimal quantity, his offense is projected to be bailable.
“The accused is alleged to be a member in the rave party from where some contraband was found in violation to provisions of NDPS Act. It appears that the quantity allegedly attributed to him for personal consumption is small quantity and not commercial quantity and therefore the offense will be bailable,” senior lawyer Maeed Memon stated.
Previously, Aryan was taken into custody when the Narcotics Control Bureau carried out a raid at a party going on at a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on Saturday night.
As per India Today, the officials of NCB interrogated Aryan in the drug bust case.
Aryan’s cell phone was seized and was scanned by the officials to determine any indication of his involvement in the ownership or consumption of the drugs.
Nine others including three girls, amongst them daughters of some of the noticeable businessmen, have also been arrested in the same case.
In the meantime, authorities have also sent for the organizers of the cruise party for inquiry.
