For the first time Marvel is bringing a Muslim superhero on big screen and Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy will be there to assist as a co-director to bring this character into reality in the movie.
Sharmeen Obaid has won two Oscars so far one time for A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness in 2015 and the other time for Saving Face in 2012 and will be brining Ms. Marvel into reality alongside Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah and Meera Menon.
Ms Marvel centers around a young Pakistani-American teen Kashmala Khan. Ms Marvel will be the first Muslim Super hero character to appear on screen from the platform.
Ms. Marvel was announced alongside The Moon Knight and She Hulk from Marvel.
