His exclusive interview with Muneeb Farooq for Meray Sawal aired on Friday.
When asked why he had vanished from the political arena after May 9, the former minister said that he had spent 40 days on a “Chilla,” or 40-day spiritual retreat.
Sheikh Rasheed said that three individuals were talking with the army on behalf of the PTI chairman and that he was present at the National Security Committee (NSC) meeting on Wednesday.
All three of them, he claimed, had now established their own parties.
He further mentioned that Imran Khan had twice instructed them not to hold talks with the army.
The former minister said that he has already denounced the actions of May 9 and 10 and that he was not in the nation at the time of the incidents.

Furthermore, he felt that a politician must never criticise a soldier. The former minister declared that he is pleased to identify as an armed forces “spokesperson.”
