Veteran Pakistani all-rounder, Shoaib Malik has achieved a big milestone as he has now become the first Asian player to complete a total of 10,000 run in T20 cricket.
Not only for his own country, but also for other franchises that he has represented globally; Malik has been quite a consistent player. With 10,027 runs in 395 matches, his average rate is 37.41 with 62 half centuries.
After Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard, Malik has now gotten the third rank on the list of players with highest scores in T20.
After his achievement, his wife Sania Mirza appreciated him and wrote on twitter: “Longevity, patience, hard work, sacrifice and belief @realshoaibmalik so proud,”
Talking about his achievement, he said: “I am really happy and I want to dedicate this milestone to my parents, i am here because of their support and well wishes. I want to thank all the players who I have shared dressing room with as well as the coaching staff for their continues support all those years,”
