Government has given permission to proceed with the Single National Curriculum (SNC) for Classes 6 to 8 in 2022.
Based on the details from reports, the curriculum was agreed upon at the conclusion of a five-day national conference that was led forward at the Allama Iqbal Open University.
The Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Shafqat Mahmood, made a speech at the concluding ceremony of the conference online and recognized the efforts of the educational sectors of the provincial governments, the stakeholders, and the National Curriculum Council in providing permission for the SNC for Classes 6 to 8.
He stated that the united agreement of the SNC aligned with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and is a measure towards national unity.
“All federating units, scholars of all schools of thought, representatives of madrassahs, and experts from all over the country deserve congratulations,” he stated.
