COVID-19 instances are increasing as a result of the severe winter Pakistan and other regions of the world are experiencing, and a new strain of the virus called JN.1 is now the most prevalent in the area.

At the Karachi airport, Pakistani officials found six additional cases of the JN.1 COVID-19 variant among foreign travellers.

Six international travellers who arrived at Jinnah International Airport tested positive for the COVID version, according to reports in the local media.

Six of the travellers who underwent quick antigen testing at Jinnah International Airport had positive results.

The individuals are inhabitants of Jacobabad, Charsadda, Rahim Yar Khan, Mirpur, and Swat.

There are now 15 JN.1 variant cases in Port City as a result of the discovery of new cases.
