The Green Shirts will be grouped with Saudi Arabia and Malaysia in Group A of the tournament, which will be played in group stages.
The eagerly anticipated tournament is scheduled to run from September 18 to September 30. The event’s schedule will soon be made public by the organisers.
According to reports from earlier this month, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation contacted the Pakistan Football Federation to participate in the multi-nation event.
The Pakistan Football Federation decided to host a training camp in preparation for the event after accepting the invitation.
The Women in Green took part in a four-nation competition earlier this year in Saudi Arabia with Saudi Arabia, the Comoros, and Mauritius.
The Green Shirts have played in seven games so far in 2023, winning two, and have managed to score a total of four goals while giving up 10 goals.
