Babar Azam, a former captain of Pakistan, has expressed his strong sorrow for the suffering endured by Palestinian Muslims and his sympathy with the people of Gaza.

The reports state that Pakistan’s top batter, Babar Azam, shared a photo of a small child clutching a toy and carrying the Palestinian flag on Twitter the previous day.

After winning the match against Sri Lanka in the ICC World Cup 2023, Rizwan expressed sympathy and solidarity for the people of Gaza last month.

Following his 131 (not out) innings, which contributed to the greatest run chase in Cricket World Cup history, Rizwan sent out this tweet.

Writing, “This was for our brothers and sisters in Gaza,” Rizwan stated. I’m happy to have contributed to the win. Bravo to all of them, but especially to Abdullah Shafique and Hassan Ali for streamlining the process.

“Very thankful to the people of Hyderabad for the wonderful hospitality and support throughout,” he continued.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has asked wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan to take down a social media post in which he thanked Palestinians suffering from Israel’s war for the team’s historic victory against Sri Lanka.

When contacted for comment, a PCB official stated, “I do not have access to this information, so the involvement of the International Cricket Council and the PCB’s legal department is pertinent in this matter.”
