The Punjab government will start a Special Enrolment Campaign in the coming week for children who were not able to come back to school as a result of the pandemic crisis.
According to the sources close by to the government, more than 600,000 students had left coming to the school permanently because of smart lockdowns in the country. Regardless of struggles of the government to accommodate schools and colleges during that time, many students, especially children, had to drop out of schools due to many different unforeseen circumstances
After considering all aspects and elevation of harsh guidelines by the provincial government, schools in Punjab will soon start to enroll children through the Special Enrolment Campaign.
In 2020, Pakistan was one of the first countries in the world which has to close down a large number of schools as a result of the global pandemic.
Now schools are finally reopening again but it will also be made sure alongside that the Standard Operation procedures (SOPs) are being followed properly as it necessary to take all precautions in order to continue the learning process in schools. The classes will be divided into two groups rather than a whole large group of class coming on the same day.
