The much awaited moment is almost here for all the music lovers. The extremely popular Swedish music streaming platform Spotify is finally going to be launched in Pakistan. The company officially made this announcement on Twitter and Instagram.

Spotify has planned to increase its market in 80+ new marketplaces and that includes Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, and others. Once the streaming platform is launched in these fresh markets, it will be accessible to over a billion people around the globe.

In the year 2020, Spotify made an official Instagram handle for Pakistan that was shortly verified as well. This elevated quite a lot of excitement and assumptions, but there hasn’t had been an official announcement up until now. The Spotify Pakistan Instagram account has finally also announced the similar news on its page.

Regardless of having quite a few competitors in the market including YouTube Music, Deezer, Apple Music, and others, Spotify remains a fan favorite platform as a result of its huge music library. The Swedish streaming application is frequently spot on with its recommendations and features as well.

Officially the streaming application stated: Listeners enjoy Spotify because we introduce them to music to fall in love with—including music they might not have found otherwise. In fact, Spotify drives 16 billion artist discoveries every month, meaning 16 billion times a month, fans listen to an artist they have never heard before on Spotify. We’re proud of that and are actively refining our algorithms to enable even more fan discoveries of new artists each month.
