Since educational institutes were closed off due to the global pandemic, it made the time span of academic year short. Now as the session has resumed the academic time for intermediate classes is for 6 months only i.e. September to February
For this reason, the higher education department (HED) has decided to introduce smart syllabus for the intermediate students. In this way the syllabus they will have to cover for exams will be reduced.
Relevant authorities have been notified to present the revised and reduced syllabus to HED. The revised syllabus will have only relevantly important topics to be covered.
Recently news started spreading across social media that educational institutes will again be closed off from October 15th after the rise in covid-19 cases but all these rumors were denied by education minister Shafqat Mehmood.
