 America defeated Pakistan by reaching the super over. The American batsman equalized the match by hitting a four on the last ball. The match entered the super over phase, Mohammad Amir bowled for Pakistan and scored a costly over of 18 runs. From Pakistan, Fakhar Zaman and Iftikhar Ahmed came in to bat but Iftikhar Ahmed got out after hitting a boundary followed by Shadab.
