Tahir Yaqub Bhatti has been appointed president of Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) by the federal government in order to fill a further important vacancy.
President ZTBL’s appointment has been officially announced by the Ministry of Finance.
In accordance with the notification, Tahir Yaqub Bhatti will lead the bank for a duration of three years.
It is significant that the coalition government decided to fill these positions this week, just days before its term comes to an end. But the lack of agreement among the coalition members was probably what caused the appointment delay.
With numerous vacancies filled in a span of just a few days, the finance ministry is currently moving quickly to fill key positions. One such appointment is ZTBL.
