The working hours for federal government agencies in the nation’s capital have changed as of today, according to a notification.
The announcement states that the new office hours will be observed by all government buildings in Islamabad right away.
The federal government’s offices will continue to be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The working day used to be from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Additionally, from 1:00 AM to 1:30 PM, workers will take a 30-minute lunch and prayer break.
Prior to this, the federal capital’s colleges and schools had new schedules.
