The federal government has approved to increase the price of electricity for commercial, agricultural and bulk consumers. According to Geo News, an increase of Rs 8.04 has been approved in the basic price of electricity for commercial consumers.

From July, the price per unit for commercial customers will go up to Rs 77 15 paise. The electricity tariff for bulk consumers has been approved to increase by Rs 5 51 paisa per unit, after which from July The tariff per unit of bulk consumers will reach 59 rupees 96 paise. It has been approved to maintain the basic electricity tariff for industrial consumers. The decision of the federal cabinet has been informed to Nepra by the power division.
