The relatives of a young man who was allegedly killed by a judge’s daughter’s car two years ago in the federal capital protested by setting up a protest camp outside the National Press Club in the federal capital to seek justice. So the police arrested five persons, including the father of the youth who died in the accident, Raffakat Tanoli.

The protesters were demanding action against those responsible for the death of Shakeel Tanuli in a car accident two years ago.

According to the statement issued by the police officials, 80 to 90 protesters gathered outside the National Press Club and blocked the road by burning tires. I started marching towards D Chowk, when the police stopped the protestors started pushing.

Officials said that the police have stopped the protesters from going to the red zone and arrested six agitators and transferred them to the police station. The police officials say that all kinds of protests and demonstrations are prohibited in the red zone. I will never be allowed to take it.

According to the English newspaper Dawn, in 2022 Shakeel Tanoli and his friend Ali Hasnain were allegedly killed by a sports car belonging to the daughter of a Lahore High Court judge near Sohan Bridge on the expressway. The incident took place in the middle of the night due to speeding, since then the investigation of the case has been stalled. According to the details available in the court records, on June 8, Shakeel Tanuli and his accomplice Hasnain Ali were going home at midnight when they met the alleged A woman driver hit a sports car.
