The format of the 63-match competition is group stage games first, followed by Super Eight matchups. From November 24 to November 28, 32 group-stage matches are scheduled to take place. Four groups of the 18 competing teams have been formed.

The groupings are split up as follows:

Group A: Quetta, Larkana, Peshawar, Karachi Blues, and Lahore Whites

Group B: Hyderabad, Islamabad, Dera Murad Jamali, Karachi Whites, and Lahore Blues

Group C: Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, and Rawalpindi

The top four teams advance to the semi-finals after the Super Eight stage. The National Bank Stadium will host the semi-finals on December 9 at 1500 PKT and 2000 PKT, respectively.

On December 10, the championship game is expected to take place at the same location. The first ball will be bowled at 2000 PKT, while the toss will happen at 1930 PKT.

Five million rupees will be awarded as prize money to the tournament’s victorious squad. In the meantime, 2.5 million rupees will be given to the tournament’s runners-up. An award of 250,000 rupees will be given to the tournament winner. The three other awards—best batsman, best bowler, and best wicketkeeper of the tournament—will get the same sum of money. The player of the match in each of the Super Eight games and the semifinals will win 25,000 rupees, while the player of the final will receive 50,000 rupees.

The PCB 2014 Constitution was revived, and this is the first tournament edition to be held since then. The six-team National T20 tournament was won by Sindh, who secured their first-ever title by defeating the reigning champions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, by an innings margin. Despite winning the 2020–21 and 2021–22 seasons, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was unable to complete a hat-trick of championships.
