For Eid ul Fitr in 2024, the federal government has declared four days off from work.
A notice issued by the cabinet division stated, “In continuation of the cabinet division’s circular regarding public and optional holidays for the year 2024, it is for general information that the prime minister has been pleased to approve public holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, as follows.”.
The offices will observe five working days from Wednesday to Friday, April 10 to April 12, 2024; the offices will observe six working days from Wednesday to Saturday, April 13 to April 13, 2C24.
According to the announcement dated April 4, Eid vacations will start on Wednesday, April 10.
The Eid holidays in 2024 fall on April 8–12 for offices that operate five days a week and April 13–14 for offices that operate six days a week.
April 10 is most likely the date of Eidul Fitr in 2024. The final statement will be made by the Ruet body following the moon sighting procedure.
Depending on when the moon is visible, Eidul Fitr is predicted to happen on April 10 or 11 this year.
