The government has announced a considerable fall in fuel costs throughout Pakistan, which is a big relief for customers.

The most recent statement states that while the price of diesel has declined by Rs. 7.88 per litre, the price of gasoline has decreased by Rs. 15 per litre. In addition, the cost of light diesel oil has declined by more than Rs. 7 per litre, and the price of kerosene oil has dropped by more than Rs. 9 per litre.

Official sources claim that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a drop in the cost of fuel products. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) submitted a proposal for a price decrease, and that proposal was the basis for the decision.

An official announcement detailing the updated prices of petroleum products is expected to be released shortly by the Ministry of Finance. With these changes taking effect at midnight today, customers should feel some respite from the soaring cost of gasoline.

The public is relieved by this decision, particularly in light of the growing pressures on inflation and economic difficulties. It is anticipated that the drop in gasoline costs will ease customers’ financial strain and offer some relief amid challenging economic times.
