Three persons have found to be dead, whereas nearly 21 have been left injured after a blast happened in a house in Lahore’s Johar Town area today as per reports.
According to the reports, rescue, police, and bomb disposal teams came rushing to the location of the incident and the injured have been taken to the city’s Jinnah Hospital.
Observers who witnessed the scene has said that the glass windows of close by houses and buildings have been broken. One of the buildings has been extremely damaged and a few automobiles parked at the spot of the explosion have also been affected.
Hospital authorities say almost two dozens persons have been left injured and have been moved to Lahore’s Jinnah Hospital through personal cars and auto-rickshaws.
The Jinnah Hospital administration has requested people to come forward and give blood for the wounded, further mentioning that treatment is being offered to the injured.
According to hospital officials, the injured included one police official, a woman, and two children. Owing to the burns, the condition of all the injured is critical.
Police have closed the location for further inquiry while traffic has been readdressed.
