Considering the negative effects of the indecent content, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has recently blocked five dating and live streaming applications including
- Tinder
- SayHi
- Tagged
- Skout
- Grinder
Notices were sent to the management of these applications that demanded removal of dating service moderation of live streaming content.
A response was expected from the management of these apps but none was received which led PTA to take the decision of blocking these applications.
There might be a chance that PTA would reconsider this action but only if the apps management decide to reassure PTA of the demands they have made regarding moderation of content.
