Today’s ICC World Cup 2023 opener pits Pakistan versus the Netherlands.

On Friday, October 6, in Hyderabad, India, Pakistan will play its opening match of the ICC World Cup 2023 against the Netherlands.

The first two of Pakistan’s nine league games will be played in Hyderabad.

The team has made the most of training sessions and two exhibition games to acclimatise to the city’s conditions since arriving late last month, the first time a Pakistan men’s cricket team has been in India in seven years.

On the eve of Pakistan’s first match in the competition, Babar said, “We have been in Hyderabad for a week, and our preparations have been outstanding. In two practice games, we tried out several lineups and gave everyone an opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a variety of settings. Overall, we’ve had productive practice sessions, and we’ll do our best.
