The Yaris was introduced by Indus Motor Company in Pakistan in 2020, and despite stiff competition in the sedan category, the vehicle managed to capture consumers’ attention.
One of the most popular models is the five-door car. The Yaris, like other Toyota vehicles, has a stellar reliability track record. Pakistan currently offers five different Toyota Yaris models.
The styling of the Toyota Yaris is more in keeping with the Toyota lineup as a whole. The new Toyota Yaris’ grille is bigger, more noticeable, and horizontally shaped like a slate. Additionally, the new LED headlights have integrated L-shaped DRLs that are similar to those on the 12th generation Toyota Corolla.
The lower border of the newly designed bumper now also has non-functional vertical air curtains along with the fog lights. The character line of the Yaris begins to sag at the B-pillar and continues around the front fender and door.
The dashboard of the car keeps its exterior design concept and is horizontally oriented while being driver-focused. A mix of hard plastic is used to build the dashboard’s upper section on the Toyota Yaris. Although! Soft touch materials are used in the areas of the loaded version of the car that the driver and passenger can access.
Toyota Yaris Fuel Consumption
The vehicle averages 14.9 km/l with a 1.5-liter engine and 16 km/l with a 1.3-liter engine for good city fuel economy. The vehicle can reach a top speed of 190 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.2 seconds thanks to its new 1.5 litre 2NR engine and manual gearbox.
The smaller 1.3-liter engine accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in about 13 seconds less quickly than the larger 1.5-liter engine.
Engine, Yaris
While the other four Toyota Yaris models have 1.3L inline four-cylinder engines, the top two models have 1.5L engines.
A 16-valve DOHC valve train with dual VVT-I technology is shared by all Yaris models. On the other hand, the manual models have a 5-speed manual gearbox.
While a sport sequential shiftmatic system and a 7-speed CVT are included in the automatic versions.
Transport and Handling
Driving the 2023 Toyota Yaris is straightforward, especially in crowded cities. The vehicle can quickly make steep turns and curves even without sensors. The car is more appropriate for riders in cities due to how poorly it performs on highways.
