Two new schemes introduced for overseas Pakistanis

Prime Minister Imran Khan today as of thursday has brought in two new schemes for Pakistanis residing in a foreign land

During a event conducted here at the capital, Imran Khan acknowledged Governor State Bank Reza Baqir for his part in introducing the two schemes namely, Roshan Apni Car and Roshan Samaji Khidmat.

PM Imran Khan guided the government to communicate with Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen for his help regarding the matter, stating that the minister was an professional in when it came to the marketing area of goods and resources.

The premier urged his economic team to keep thinking of “out-of-the-box” solutions to support Pakistan’s economy till its exports does not come at par with its imports.

He recognized the record-breaking increase in transfer of funds from overseas Pakistanis within the past years, further mentioning that this was just the “tip of the iceberg”.

He appreciated these Pakistani for their role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy in the past few years.

“Overseas Pakistanis have, over the years, kept our economy afloat,” he said, mentioning that he was in contact with overseas Pakistanis for the previous 50 years when he used to play cricket.
