Yesterday’s Junior Squash Championship in Doha saw two silver medals won by Pakistani squash players.
Abdullah Zaman and Ahmed Ali Naz, two young Pakistanis, won the silver medals after losing the Under-15 and Under-11 competitions.
Rayyan Zaman, the younger brother of Abdullah Zaman, competed in the Under-11 division of the competition but was eliminated in the semifinals.
The two young players, who played with pride and dedication on behalf of Pakistan, proved their mettle on the court throughout the competition and were duly recognised for their outstanding efforts.
The Zaman brothers have a family history in squash since they are both the grandchildren of the renowned former player, Qamar Zaman.
Their accomplishments are a credit to their perseverance, commitment, and the extensive training initiatives that help develop young athletes in Pakistan.
The two young guns were praised by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association for their accomplishments in the event, emphasising their extraordinary game-day abilities, techniques, and plans.
