From September 25 to October 2, United States Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Rena Bitter will visit Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Rena Bitter, Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, will travel to Islamabad, Karachi, and Dhaka between September 25 and October 2, 2023, according to a release from the US Embassy.
The assistant secretary will meet with embassy and consulate workers, examine consular procedures, and have meetings with representatives of the host government to discuss consular matters, according the release.
The journey she took “underscores our deep and ongoing commitment to the protection of American nationals abroad and the facilitation of lawful travel and immigration to the United States,” it said.
