Almost 400 Pakistanis landed yesterday at the Dubai airport with visit-visas in their hands who are currently just stranded on the airport. It is reported that they might soon be deported from the country.
The reason for deportation is that none of them have followed the new travelling regulations. Similarly later on around 30 more Pakistani landed without proper travel requirements.
According to a senior diplomat, lack of fulfillment of current travel conditions have made them come this point that they might now be deported.
Basically there are two main conditions that should be fulfilled by the passengers:
- They should have atleast 2000 dirhams for stay.
- They need to present hotel booking or proper proof of a relative living there.
If they fail to meet the entry criteria, they mght be sent back to Pakistan.
According too deputy consul general at Pakistan consulate: “Three hundred and four Pakistanis landed in Dubai on October 13 but they were denied entry into the UAE by immigration authorities, the consulate has been trying to resolve the issue with local authorities,”
