We will finally get to see the newest iPhone generation from Apple tonight at 10 p.m. Pakistan time (PKT). As usual, both YouTube and Apple’s website will stream the launch live.
The “Wonderlust” event is probably a play on how amazing the new iPhones will be. Speaking of iPhones, we anticipate seeing the 15, 15, Plus, Pro, and Pro Max at this event, though some have hypothesised that the Pro Max may be renamed the iPhone 15 Ultra with additional upgrades.
The biggest change this year, though, is not that. Thanks to the EU mandate requiring OEMs to sell products with USB C ports, all of these iPhones are finally ditching their proprietary Thunderbolt ports in favour of USB C. But given Apple’s reputation, you’ll almost certainly need to purchase Apple-approved cables in order to charge the phone.
Additionally, the first-ever periscope lens is anticipated to be included in the iPhone 15 Pro Max (or Ultra), which could delay deliveries until October. The phone will still only be offered in a small quantity despite the delay.
The Pro and Pro Max will reportedly have titanium frames, while the Dynamic Island is rumoured to be coming to the standard iPhone 15 and 15 Plus. An action button will be present on every iPhone.
This event will also highlight the Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch 9 series. These wearables are expected to have the same design as before but a longer battery life.
