Facebook-owned application, whatsapp is constantly bringing changes and new updates. Well this time, the update is quite interesting. According to reports, a new feature is coming on whatsapp through which the media will be automatically deleted after the viewer has seen it and left the chat.
The media expiration time will not be decided by the user, instead it will be expired once the receiver has viewed it. Currently users are able to delete media but it shows a message afterwards stating “this message was deleted”.
With this new feature, there won’t be any evidence left behind stating that any kind of media or message got deleted.
Although it is yet a mystery that whether or not the sender will be notified if the receiver takes a screenshot of the media before it expires.
