Following an incident where one of the airline’s air hostesses entered Canada without her passport, Pakistan International Airline (PIA) was forced to pay a fine.
An employee of the national flag airline was assigned to work on flight PK-781 from Islamabad to Toronto, according to a local media site that cited sources.
The air hostess did not have a passport when she went to Canada. It is stated that she traveled from the federal capital using the PIA General Declaration paperwork.
He refuted rumors, meanwhile, that the flight hostess intended to apply for political asylum when she arrived in Canada. This is a unique instance of a PIA air hostess visiting a foreign nation without a passport.
The staff members of the airline had gone missing in Canada on several occasions before this. More than ten PIA air hostesses are said to have vanished from the nation during the past several years.
Jibran Baloch and Maryam Raza, two PIA workers, failed to report back for duty after arriving in Canada a few weeks ago. Raza had further written a “Thank you, PIA” letter for the airline.
