Prince Harry reportedly met Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their children during the Valentine’s Day weekend, marking a rare reunion amid years of strained relations.

According to a source cited by Closer magazine, the Princess of Wales extended an invitation to Prince Harry ahead of his scheduled trip to the UK. “Kate reached out to Harry a couple of months ago when they were discussing his upcoming visit and mentioned their plans to go to Mustique over half term,” the source revealed.

The insider further stated that Kate suggested it as an opportunity for Harry to meet William and the children in a private setting, away from the media spotlight. While the Duke of Sussex had initially agreed, he did not confirm his travel plans until he was in Canada for the Invictus Games, making the visit a last-minute arrangement.

Upon arrival, Prince Harry stayed at a friend’s villa near the location where the Prince and Princess of Wales were vacationing. Kate reportedly invited him for lunch the following day, where he was initially tense but eventually relaxed after spending time with the children. The meeting extended into the evening, suggesting a cordial atmosphere despite underlying tensions.

“Kate hoped this would be an opportunity to mend relationships after years of conflict,” the source added. However, Prince William remained reserved, with the insider noting, “William was incredibly guarded and showed little willingness to engage in a meaningful conversation with his brother.”

The visit comes at a time when reports of ongoing tensions between Prince Harry and the royal family continue to surface, particularly following his memoir and media interviews. While Kate is believed to have taken a reconciliatory approach, the possibility of a full resolution between the brothers remains uncertain.
