Within one month, Drug regulatory authority Pakistan (DRAP) has once again increased the prices of medicines from 25-30%.
Almost 235 medicines have been included in this price hike as the notification from DRAP has now finally been approved to increase the prices.
Earlier around the beginning of the month October an official statement about increased prices of medicine had already been issued.
This makes the current increase in prices a second notification within a month. Last increase in prices was over 94 medicines whereas this time the number of medicines has been increased as well. Different number ranging from 25 to 30% has been imposed on different medicines from a total of 235.
