The Islamabad police have been contacted by a woman from Sheikhupura who reported a disturbing case of sexual assault that took place at gunpoint in the nation’s capital on Trail 3.
The victim claims that a man named Noman tricked her into going to Islamabad under the guise of a job opportunity.
Initial phone conversations allowed them to get to know one another, and Noman persuaded her to give him Rs. 50,000 in exchange for a job. Out of this sum, Rs 20,000 was supposed to be paid after getting the job.
The woman was told when she arrived in Islamabad that an introduction and orientation meeting would be scheduled at her expected workplace.
She was supposed to be picked up by Noman, who allegedly rode his motorbike to the Tench bus stop in Rawalpindi.
He took her to hiking trail-3 in the Margalla Mountains rather than an office, which is where the traumatic event occurred.
Noman assaulted her there at gunpoint while threatening to shoot her if she made a sound or resisted. He took her back to the same Rawalpindi Bus Stop after carrying out the crime, then he left the area.
The authorities launched a thorough investigation into the incident after the victim filed a complaint at the Kohsar Police Station. In order to support her claims, the woman has also asked for a medical exam.
